Introduction
For each piece I write, there are category keyword tabs at the top of the post. Each of those words is a link to the category, and you can get to that category overview (to see all of the articles and posts in that category) anytime by clicking on any of those words. I am working on writing summary pieces for each category (like this one), so readers will be able to see all the articles written on some of the more popular categories of the website, easily (at a glance). This is my first attempt at this, so feedback is welcome. Please let me know if these summary pieces are helpful. Thank you!

I really like how you are organizing information together under topics! Do you have any lead free recommendations for glass family food storage? I am looking for containers with lid that are safe and can go from fridge to microwave. We have some small round Pyrex containers with silicone lids. Thanks am looking for larger rectangular sizes. Thanks!

Hello Tamara,
Have you ever tested Tiara Vingage glass dishes, I have received my Grannies Tiara collection and was curious if they are lead free.
Thank you
Tamara says
Hi – I don’t know if I have.
Here’s how to send something in: https://tamararubin.com/2019/08/tamara-can-i-send-you-one-of-my-dishes-to-test-for-lead/

I just discovered your blog and it is a great resource. I was surprised by some of your findings and shocked at some too. I’m disappointed to see that the Pyrex double oven had lead. Mine is the blue but I don’t use it anymore, but I have a clear Pyrex teapot of about the same time period and now I suspect it has lead also. I’m curious if you have ever tested colored glass? I have several colors of 1970’s Noritake water goblets and 1990s Libbey water goblets.

Hi there Marti – please watch this video that shows you how to search the site. You can enter search tires like “Noritake” or “Blue Glass” or “Red Glass” or even “Clear glass”

This is likely like the teapot you are asking about:

Would you test Mason Bottle?
Tamara says
I have ordered some for testing. I am out of the country so will not have results until at least May and possibly June.
Isaenz says
Hi do you have an update on Mason Bottle? Thank you! 🙂 I appreciate all your hard work!
Tamara says
We bought some (from the baby bottle brand) and will be testing them soon.
