They are lighter weight than similar cast pots (since they are not cast – and are instead made from one piece of [seamless!] formed material) – and they therefore have no rivets or other join points, or other decorative elements [made of different / potentially problematic materials] involved.

Please do note – per the post on my website with full test results for the stainless pans … the stainless pans from this brand are not 100%nickel-free — but they ARE very-low-nickel (and of course, 100% Lead-free or I would not be recommending them!)
