Updated Route!
Hello! We’re in Socorro, New Mexico today (headed to see the Very Large Array tomorrow morning) and this (the map below) is our travel plan (driving!) for the next week or so. Above is the updated anticipated schedule for reaching each of these areas. If you are in our travel path (our plan is to be back in Portland, Oregon on-or-about March 8th or 9th) please text me if you might like to meet up for coffee or lunch – or (even better) if you might like to hire me for a one-on-one home consultation to help me earn the $ to pay Lead Safe Mama, LLC’s legal team. My cell: 415-609-3182. Thanks for supporting this work in all of the ways! [Here’s the “rates” page for home consultations for those who are interested.]
Here’s a little bit of a post I shared on social media the other day (about these trips) too:
#GrandCanyon #LeadFreeExploring #LeadFreeAdventures #WorldSchooling #HomeSchooling #WorkTripSchooling For those who are new here… several times a year I drive around the country helping families with lead poisoned children and working with families who hire me to do #HealthyHomeConsultations where I test the things in their homes using XRF technology (often to help them find / identify / confirm mysterious sources of Lead exposure – or other toxicant exposure). Since my children have disabilities that the public school system refuses to accommodate (in spite of their legal requirement to do so) I bring my children with me on many of my work trips – making sure to do something fun and educational every day after work AND as we head to each new destination – making sure to have educational (Lead-Free) adventures along the way! This is how we have found ourself in the Grand Canyon today – between helping folks in Nevada and Utah (and then Idaho!) The kids also help plan the route (around my work-related destinations) and they decide what we are going to do for the fun and educational activities! We also try to drive no more than 4 hours a day and to get between 5,000 and 10,000 steps in each day!

I’m just finding out about the toxicity of my Corelle kitchen ware today! I searched your site for info on Pyrex Hamilton Beach bowls – I have a white one that says made in Wisconsin with the number 29 on the bottom. Do you have info on the toxicity of this product? It was my mother-in-laws, so old. Thank you for all you are doing!
