These little “Tom and Jerry” Christmas mug was tested with an XRF instrument and the results were as follows:
White Milk Glass (unpainted):
- Lead (Pb): 176 +/- 19 ppm
- Bromine (Br): 9 +/- 3 ppm
Green Paint:
- Lead (Pb): 37,100 +/- 1,000 ppm
- Cadmium (Cd): 943 +/- 50 ppm
- Barium (Ba): 317 +/- 79 ppm
- Chromium (Cr): 11,600 +/- 900 ppm
Red Paint:
- Lead (Pb): 27,900 +/- 700 ppm
- Cadmium (Cd): 1,284 +/- 60 ppm
- Selenium (Se): 542 +/- 46 ppm
This cup also tested positive for lead when tested with a LeadCheck swab (see video).
