Vintage 1973 Plastic Fisher Price Circus Train. Tested with an XRF instrument. All components were non-detect for lead (Pb), arsenic (As) and mercury (Hg.). The white plastic component of this toy is positive for cadmium at 43 +/- 10 ppm. Here’s more info about cadmium.
Here is a modern version of a similar toy on Amazon.

Do Fisher Price toys from 1978(year lead was banned in paint) and later which are marked Made in USA contain lead. The company states that they have always followed Gov’t safety requirements.

Do you know if the toy animals (giraffe, monkey, elephant, lion) that came with the 1973 Fisher Price Circus Train contain any materials at levels that would be toxic to children?
