Transformer-style Voltron toy, made in Taiwan. Tested positive for lead with an XRF with levels as high as 108,800 ppm lead! #YIKES! Peeling chipping paint and everything!
The current federal standard for what is considered a lead hazard in an item intended for children is anything 90 ppm lead or higher (in the paint or coating.)
DO NOT let your children play with vintage toys like this one!

There was a huge recall of certain Voltron toys due to lead. I think they were the very first ones made. They then reissued the toy with (supposedly) no lead.

I had the toy in question when I was a kid and it was taken away… I still remember. The one you have displayed here though is the miniature. It was only the full size deluxe lion set that was recalled, which even I remember being much much bigger.. like the one leg alone was almost as big as the one you have displayed there.
