October 2015 Recall of Pottery Barn Kids Water Bottles

| | | | | | | | |

This is one of the reasons (just one of them) that “Pottery Barn” is on my #ShitList.  They have had too many issues for me to trust them as a company, or for me to recommend any portion of their product lines as being even lead-safe. Sort of poetic that their initials are PB!

While this recall is from two years ago, I think it is important to remind people of these recalls periodically so the information continues to circulate for those who are not aware that there was a recall, yet still have the product in their lives.

Click the image to get to the CPSC link for the recall, however I have posted all of the data here.

Here’s a link to my water bottle post!

  1. Hi Tamara, I sent you one of these water bottled from Pottery Barn made in 2020 if you would like to test it for lead. I had sent an email to Pottery Barn to have them confirm but all they said was their products get tested so there is no way it has lead. Not very comforting – especially since we know regulations have decreased during the pandemic.

  2. I recently reached out to PB to see if my furniture has a prop 65 warning on it. Customer service acted as if they didn’t know what it was (even though they are IN California). No rep would ever get back to me. Very fishy. I won’t be ordering again. I wish that they would be held accountable.
