So. Several people have told me this morning that KitchenAid representatives told them that my work is somehow a scam. Folks have also shared that KitchenAid has shared that my work is not true, that somehow my scientific testing of their products (demonstrating that their products have Lead in them) is false / a lie – insisting that their products are Lead-free. And of course so many of you have told me that KitchenAid told you they are referring this to their legal team / getting their lawyers involved.

Since I’ve shared this information about the KitchenAid stand mixer paddles having Lead – and the related response this year from KitchenAid (re-shared it again this holiday season as I do most holiday seasons) folks have donated about $185 towards my legal fund. I am super thankful for those donations and will be sending that to my legal team… however that’s not enough to mount a legal case against KitchenAid for slander – which I think we actually could do at this point. I’ve never done something like that but at this point I think we have enough evidence here and enough witnesses to make a solid case. Perhaps a slander case against them will get them to change their tune and to stop making false allegations and possibly even to stop selling toxic products! So here’s a question… is there anyone out there who might be an attorney? Any one of my now 17,900 Instagram followers here today? And specifically anyone who might be an attorney interested in taking on a contingent (or pro bono) case against KitchenAid for slander?

Just thought I would float the idea in case someone wants to help with this cause in this way. Note: I don’t really care that they are slandering me, I know that my science is solid and every statement I have made on the matter is factual and correct – BUT it’s not right and they should be put in their place and made to stop this bullshit! Thanks in advance for your input / ideas on this. My cell (if you are an attorney and want to take on this “project” please text me) 415-609-3182. I don’t know what court would be appropriate. I’m in Oregon and KitchenAid is not — so this slander and harassment (happening simply because I am sharing facts and science with my readers and followers) is happening across state lines, so perhaps a federal court?
