This is a Lead Safe Mama, LLC affiliate link for Solidteknics. Solidteknics products are my personal favorite Lead-free pans (and the pans I use every day in my home – when I am home!). They are lighter weight than similar cast pots (since they are not cast – and are instead made from one piece of [seamless!] formed material) – and they therefore have no rivets or other join points, or other decorative elements [made of different / potentially problematic materials] involved.
Please do note – per the post on my website with full test results for the stainless pans … the stainless pans from this brand are not 100% nickel-free — but they ARE very-low-nickel (and of course, 100% Lead-free or I would not be recommending them!)
If you purchase any products from Solidteknics using one of Lead Safe Mama, LLC’s affiliate links, Soliteknics will send us 10% of what you spend (at no extra cost to you), in support of our independent consumer goods testing and childhood Lead-poisoning prevention advocacy work. As of February 2023 they are also offering a 30% discount to Lead Safe Mama readers! Just use the code ‘LEADFREEMAMA” on checkout!
Thank you for supporting this work in this way!

what about iron release from the stamped iron pans – is it like the cast iron where iron leaches into your food? Iron seems to be a big issue these days as it contributes to many health issues (your body cannot absorb this type of iron?)
Looking for something non-stick and considering these – but the iron release?
I am surprised there is no response. I am at a cross – road. I want to improve my choices, but don’t want to throw out expensive cookware (most of which she has not specifically tested) just to trade problems!
Hello – with over 4,000 visitors to the site every day I cannot answer every question unfortunately – but I try! I never recommend (or use) any non-stick pans. Here’s an article I wrote that mentioned the concern about Iron, but primarily with the philosophy being to swap pans out (using different types pans [a mix of clear glass – stainless steel & iron] each day or throughout the day) and avoiding long-form cooking there should not be issues unless you have a medical concern that precludes the use of iron – read more here: https://tamararubin.com/2022/08/why-do-some-stainless-steel-cookware-items-have-a-prop-65-warning-isnt-stainless-steel-non-toxic/

Hi Tamara,
The iron pans are seasoned with non-GMO rice bran oil.
Isn’t rice bran oil carcinogenic?
Regards
Irene
I think it’s always a good idea to re-season your pans at home if you buy pre-seasoned pans.
