Thank God I saw this information. I received a set for my first marriage in 1989. I have it displayed in a cabinet and almost purchased another set to replace broken pieces for $500. Now I know it contains lead I will never use and certainly won’t buy more!! THANK YOU!
Thanks for commenting!
I have one of these plates as well. I thought it was beautiful and added it to our collection. Thankfully have not used it a lot, but a little. Now it is going in the garbage along with the family Corelle. And the bath tub. And the bentonite clay. And probably most of our antique wooden furniture.
If the antique wooden furniture is not stained it may be ok. Oak is not generally stained with Lead and Arsenic stain.
