This is the ice-cream maker we have.
We love it! It’s so much fun. It was the last present my mother bought the boys before she passed away, so we have had it for a couple of years now and we use it all the time.
It’s easy, quick and fun – we experiment with all sorts of natural and organic ingredients and the results are always terrific!
For sweeteners we have tried maple syrup, honey, coconut sugar, agave and other options! For fruit we have used raspberries, strawberries and coconut meat. For nuts we have experimented with cashews, almonds and hazelnuts. We always put in some natural/organic vanilla (even in our chocolate and berry flavored ice cream!), and we often add cinnamon and other baking spices to make it interesting.
I have tested all of the accessible components and found no lead anywhere on the appliance (this includes the cord, which is also lead-free.)

Hi! Thank you for testing an ice cream maker:)
Did it contain any other metals?

Thanks Tamara!
I clicked on your ice cream maker for $122 and they also showed the newer model for $69.99
Have you tested the newer model? I’d like to purchase.
Thanks again!

What material is the inside? Is it nonstick or stainless steel?

The link you supply for your Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker directs me to just a replacement bowl, not the actual unit. Can you please provide the number of your unit? I am in Canada, the units I see do not look exactly like yours. None of them do. Perhaps they have changed the look of them. And I can only assume if yours is lead free then others are as well. Thanks.
