Anchor Ovenware Loaf Pan: no lead – no mercury – no cadmium – no arsenic!
I have these in my home, but this one belongs to my friend Gayle.
Most modern clear glass is lead-free. Click here for more examples of testing of clear glass that I have done.
Tested with an XRF. Apple included to show size.
If you appreciate what I do (XRF testing of consumer goods and sharing the results here and on Twitter and Facebook!), the simplest way you can help support my advocacy work at NO EXTRA COST to you is to click on the Amazon affiliate links in the post or Amazon ads to the right on this page (or on the bottom if you are on your phone!). If you click on any of the links before you start your Amazon shopping as you normally would, then Amazon sends me a percentage of whatever you spend (up to 12% in April if you start by clicking on the Amazon ads on the side of this post!) – and you don’t even have to buy the items pictured! 😉
Also – when we reach $5,000 on my GoFundMe, Carissa and I are going to do another round of #GuerrillaXRFTesting at a store chosen by our followers (like the #GuerrillaXRFTesting we did at Target back in February!)
Happy shopping! & Thank you for your support! – Tamara

Want to support- but all of the links on this page go to green toys, not the glass loaf bakeware!

Thank you for all the work you have done on this. I have some clear baking dishes by Anchor Hocking called « Savannah », which is a pretty floral pattern in the glass. There is no paint, just clear glass. However, they stopped making it a while ago.
I wonder if it is safe (clear glass) or if any vintage products are risky, even if clear glass.
Thank you

anchor is best than libbey or pyrex, on your link for pyrex the mixing bowls the glass is greenish and I just receilved a 3 pieces bakewares set from libbey and it is blueish so I don’t trust it, and did you glass can also have aluminium in it ? that another thing I avoid and when there is a light color in glass there is aluminium too, they use it to have a more resistant glass for change of temperature

I found a small Anchor loaf pan at a Dollar Store. So glad I bought it. I also ordered the Libbey 3 piece bakeware set the comment above says hers came blueish. Hope mine is clear. Thanks for all your work dear Lead Free Mama!
