  1. I have purchased Fiestaware bowls this year from their factory and one color I have is the “Sunflower”, which is a yellow. Wondering if you’ve tested this color before?

    1. There is a post here with a comment from a reader that shows the metals content in each of their colors -I will see if I can find which post that is on.

  2. We have been using Fiestaware Persimmon (retired) – a dark orange-like color – for everyday for 15+ years. I’m now concerned about cadmium content. We also have Shamrock – a dark green – but only pieces that we use occasionally. Have you tested these colors? What would be your concerns?

We are actually planning to replace the Fiestaware with plain white Corelle, as much for the light weight and low cost as for health reasons. But, I’m concerned about passing the Fiestaware on to anyone else.

      1. Thanks, Tamara!
I found information on Persimmon and Shamrock Fiesta in the comments section of your post entitled “Cadmium Concerns”. A commenter posted a list from the Fiesta company of colors that have and do not have cadmium-containing glazes. Readers can look there for cadmium info. I am so grateful for the work you are doing. Wishing the best to you and your family! And, congrats on being “jazz famous”! 🙂

  3. Hi Tamara, my family bought these dishes after we saw our old ones on your website. Can you recommend some lead free and cadmium free dishes please?
