360 Cookware Test Results — Large Cookie Sheet

Hi all!

We received so many requests to publish test results for the 360 Cookware Cookie Sheets that we asked our friends at 360 Cookware to send us a couple for XRF testing. Below is a full (representative) set of XRF test results for one of these products, specifically their large-sized stainless steel cookie sheet. As with all of the XRF testing we report, we tested each of these products multiple times to confirm the results.

As a result of our 2025 testing of 360 Cookware’s products, which demonstrated their stainless steel food-contact pieces as consistently “non-detect” (negative) for Lead, Cadmium, Mercury, Arsenic, and Antimony across the board, we invited 360 Cookware to come on board as a Lead Safe Mama, LLC Sponsor in October 2025. 360 Cookware accepted, sponsoring our newsletters for November and December 2025, and helping us both cover direct costs related to each newsletter and some costs for the product testing and reporting we published and shared in the LSM Newsletter in 2025. A big shout-out and thank you to 360 Cookware for supporting the work of Lead Safe Mama, LLC! Thank you!

Interesting note: The two different 360 Cookware cookie sheets we tested were each made of a different stainless steel. The Medium Cookie Sheet is made of 316 Stainless Steel and the Large Cookie Sheet is made of 304 Stainless Steel. Here’s the link to the XRF test results for the Medium Cookie Sheet. Both 304 Stainless and 316 Stainless are considered appropriate for high-quality cookware products.

Additional Note: The 360 Cookware products are high-quality (truly heirloom-quality) stainless steel products designed to last a very long time. They are not, however, Nickel-free products. If you are looking for a Nickel-free stainless product due to a Nickel allergy (or other reason), you may need to find an alternative. In 17 years of XRF testing popular products (in the United States and abroad), we have not yet found any Nickel-free Stainless steel cookie sheets or cake pans. It is important to note that even cookware marketed and sold as “Nickel-Free” may not be truly Nickel-free. Stainless Steel cookware products marketed and sold as Nickel-free often still (legally) test positive for up to 2,500 ppm Nickel. The technical (industry) distinction for “Nickel-Free” stainless steel is stainless steel that contains less than 2,500 ppm Nickel.

“Stainless Steel 304”
Nickel, Chromium, Molybdenum, and Iron levels are bolded and distinguished in green font below, as those elements are the primary components of Stainless Steel. It is the variances in proportions of these metals that typically determine the grade and type (and related uses) of the Stainless Steel quality. In this case, the quality used for this product is considered “304 Stainless Steel.” Here’s a short online description of it:

  • Lead (Pb): non-detect
  • Cadmium (Cd): non-detect
  • Mercury (Hg): non-detect
  • Arsenic (As): non-detect
  • Antimony (Sb): non-detect
  • Bromine (Br): non-detect
  • Chromium (Cr): 179,800 +/- 1,100 ppm (18%)
  • Vanadium (V): 1,415 +/- 266 ppm
  • Manganese (Mn): 11,600 +/- 800 ppm
  • Iron (Fe): 718,800 +/- 1,800 ppm  (72%)
  • Cobalt (Co): 1,557 +/- 951 ppm
  • Nickel (Ni): 81,300 +/- 1,200 ppm (8%)
  • Copper (Cu): 3,670 +/- 273 ppm
  • Molybdenum (Mo): 1,685 +/- 99 ppm  (2%)
  • Tin (Sn): 116 +/- 29 ppm
  • No other metals were detected in Consumer Goods mode.
