Here are some LEAD-FREE Mother’s Day gift ideas.
While I was putting together this list, my husband said he thinks these ideas are “uninspired” (“shouldn’t things for Mother’s Day be all about pampering?” — but I disagree with that sentiment)! I chose things that I think Lead Safe Mama readership and I personally resonate with (items I use and love nearly every day)… so — what-evz! Prices listed below are current as of Monday — May 6, 2024 — and all links are affiliate links.

1. My computer bag: $36.99 https://amzn.to/4dvFrVY (holds phone, cables, wallet, kids’ crap — very useful)
2. My computer bag strap (banjo strap to replace the strap the bag came with, makes bag much easier to carry — plus… it’s oh-so-stylish!): $21.99 — https://amzn.to/3WNRsAz
3. Water bottles (my kids use this — we use the ones WITHOUT straws): https://amzn.to/3UyDU9d: $30.97 in purple
4. My juice pitcher: $27.99 https://amzn.to/4dvPIBS
5. My organic cotton comforter (we have these in all sizes for every bed): $145.00 in king — https://amzn.to/44t6LQT
6. The organic cotton sheets my family uses — a king sheet set ($259.00). It’s great to have them tie-dyed, too! https://shrsl.com/4io00
7. A Made-in-USA crepe pan for $69.00 (on sale from $118!): https://shrsl.com/4inzz
8. The Lead-free travel coffee cup I use daily — it is EXPENSIVE but VERY DURABLE. My first one lasted 2+ years and travelled with me for over 30,000 miles: https://amzn.to/3y2WUF4 ($31.03 in purple)
9. A Lead-free tea pot (I cannot vouch for their teas, however!): $22.72 — https://amzn.to/3UPKpFK
10. Lead-free heart shaped tea cups (we got these and they are super cute but fair warning, they break easily, so just don’t throw them in the sink with other dishes, lol!): $15.99 for a set of two: https://amzn.to/3UPK2uQ
11. My Lead-free french press (good for coffee or tea — I use this daily for coffee): $17.09 https://amzn.to/3QxMlQV
12. My Lead-free coffee cups (at home): $43.95 for a set of six https://amzn.to/3QDDygf
13. My son Avi wanted me to add a Lite Brite toy to this list, because what mom wouldn’t want a Lite Brite toy (he says). The vintage ones have Lead. The plug-in ones have Antimony in the cord, but the battery-operated versions can be Lead-free if you get Lead-free rechargable batteries: https://amzn.to/4buciZN — $14.97 (they come in different sizes)

The Lite Brite suggestion is so awesome! I hope some mums pick up this item and get creative with their kids!

Thanks for this list! I was thinking about getting a Teabloom double walled glass mug for my dad! Is it pretty safe to assume their glassware is all lead-free?
