Tamara Rubin is a multiple-federal-award-winning independent advocate for childhood Lead poisoning prevention and consumer goods safety, and a documentary filmmaker. She is also a mother of Lead-poisoned children (two of her four sons were acutely Lead-poisoned in 2005).

Tamara owns and runs Lead Safe Mama, LLC — a unique community collaborative woman-owned small business for childhood Lead poisoning prevention and consumer goods safety.
Since July 2022, the work of Lead Safe Mama, LLC has been responsible for six product recalls (FDA and CPSC).
All test results reported on this website are science-based, accurate, and replicable.

Segments of tonight’s recording may also be used by Lead Safe Mama, LLC for future video shares/ documentary footage/ news pieces. In this chat we will start with introductions — with each participant briefly introducing themselves/sharing a little about themselves (anything you are comfortable sharing — along the lines of city/ country of origin/residence, parental status (parent or grandparent or not-a-parent), professional background/education/training, current profession, age, cultural/ethnic background — anything you want to share!). The Zoom link for this chat will be shared on social media about one hour before the chat. The Zoom link will be shared with the Lead Safe Mama e-mail newsletter mailing list at about 3 p.m. PST (so please subscribe to the email list before then if you want to make sure to get the Zoom link!).
