If Y’all could do just ONE thing to support my advocacy work before the end of the year (so in the next three days – preferably today) please click through to the home page of Lead Safe Mama dot com (type it in to your browser so that it isn’t bogged down with Facebook/Meta referral code) – and grab a link to one of my articles about the KitchenAid stand mixer paddles testing positive for unsafe levels of Lead – and then share that on your social media pages (and in your parenting groups and cooking groups too!) The best articles to share are the one with the picture of the RED stand mixer (which is the overview article) and the one with the PINK mixer (which has the template to write to KitchenAid) and the one with the PURPLE stand mixer, which has my point-by-point response to their greenwashed response to customers writing in. Thank you! – Tamara
[We’re trying to reach 600,000 page views by the end of the month [see graphs below for our progress!] and – at the rate things are going – we’re going to be about 40,000 short – but could easily reach this goal if just 100 or 200 people helped out and shared one of these links. 600,000 page views a month is our long-term sustainability goal – the point at which the work we do here earns enough money to cover the cost of the work we do here – so we can keep doing what we do! Your social media shares make that difference – especially when they include a link to our website! Thank you so much!]

Thanks so much for all of your research! Do you recommend any of the stand up mixers?

I don’t really have an alternate. I have my 30 year old KitchenAid. I got the stainless paddles but I almost never use it now – because of what it represents (not a good answer of course!)
