Against the advice of many of my friends (who have urged me not to spend any more time on this – as legal battles tend to suck your life away) I filed this lawsuit today – not just for me, but for every advocate who has been silenced.
My lawyers have argued that I cannot win – that “the opposition” has unlimited resources (and continuing this fight might take up another five years of my life) … but I wanted to make sure to share this full legal complaint with all of you because what has happened to me was fundamentally a civil rights violation (multiple civil rights violations actually) and an attempt to silence my voice in this work we all do together.

Have you contacted the ACLJ or Southern Poverty Law? These organizations only take constitutional rights violations. Basically you’ve done their work for them & it should be an easy win.
Hi Nina! Thank you for commenting. I did contact the ACLU (is that what you meant?) They said that my case was too unique / did not have broad enough impact for them to take on… I did find an attorney in May though -and she filed the lawsuit in Federal court for me (and we withdrew the suit filed with the county.) I need to find an attorney in oregon that will sue the doj too. An employee of doj has tampered with monetary documentation to her benefit. This is a big deal I need a layer I can trust. I’m afraid of doj destroying evidence.

you are not the only one to sue DOJ or DHS or CPS of Oregon I will love to do to since Department of Human Services falsified the witness statements on a investigation report and made up allegation which never happened the evidence clearly shows that no reasonable attorney I can found to sue them I send a certificate letter to governor Cathy Brawn and the DOJ including the federal judge Simon and do you think some one do something I tray to go pro se but judges do not care what you tell them you are no one if you are no attorney also I paid more then $30,000 to a attorney which was stilling the money from the trust account so no Attorney will go to sue this states agency all of them are chickens no attorney all they want is just your money I faith this from 2015 just imagine if any of as falsified the evidence and file with the court or provide to DOJ what well happened to as that is way this people should be prosecuted
if you like me to be a witness in your case because Department of Human Services ,CPS,DOJ ,Oregon State Bar ,
they all have a history of abuse of pawer and dos not matter if they falsified evidence nothing you can do and otter people stay in jail for something like this I send letters to all Oregon legislators Republicans and Democrat no one do nothing to investigate this issue to be a state agency and falsified witness statements is unbelievable Oregon State Bar just protect their attorney nothing will do if you file a complain when my Attorney still money from the trust account more then $1000 is a felony so Oregon State Bar did’t do anything not even respond to my complain so this is my email mariantaloi@yahoo.com we all should file a lawsuit against them only a class action will get there attention
