Ihave quite a few pieces of vintage Tupperware and a few newer pieces. Most do not have the triangle with the 5 in it. Two pieces have a 7 in the triangle. Is there a list that tells which pieces are not safe to use. I have used these pieces for over 50 years or have had them that long. Twenty years ago I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer. Last fall I was diagnosed with a recurrence in the same breast. And just finished chemo and will be on immunotherapy for 6 more months and estrogen blockers for 5-10 years. I am currently 77 years old. I don’t know if these metals could have had any part in my developing these two cancers.
I am surprised that there have not been any legal proceedings on this issue. I have looked for a list of products on the internet and there is none. I spoke to someone at Customer Service who said I would need to send a list of all my products and they would check the numbers and let me know.
I do have most of the products you pictured, but there are many more that exist. I have even seen on the internet people who are selling these pieces. I cannot believe that is legal.
I would appreciate any help you could give me on these products. There are three generations in my family that have used these same items. I don’t know if they have caused any problems or not.
Thank,
