Lately, I’ve been researching the best non-toxic clothes hangers since I found a label on some wire hangers at my local Walmart warning about nickel and chromium!
Also, do you have recommendations on storage items like plastic totes? I thought about putting everything in totes but many online sources say cardboard is better to stack and saves space in a closet, whereas totes don’t or may not stack well (flexible lids may break). But also, (we don’t have this problem yet but just in case) in case we have a water problem or we are moving in the rain, totes may be better. Then, there’s the issue of what the plastic is made of! I’ve seen many that are the recycle #5 or made from “recycled materials” and nothing else, usually from the Sterilite brand or Mainstays.
I don’t know if any of that relates to lead, but do you have any recommendations? (Can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked out of a store because I got so overwhelmed thinking about what’s better, non-toxic, chemical-free, environmental-friendly for my home). Thanks!
I have been wondering if you are pretty close to updating recommendation on water filter that I asked about last December? 🙂 Also, what would you recommend in order to have safe drinking water while traveling (I mean at the airport, during long flight, and outside the US)?
Thank you!
Sorry – haven’t yet gotten to that! My to do list is so very long! I will create a new post and share it on Facebook as soon as I have a recommendation that I am comfortable with.
