2018 Ryan And Rose Braided Cutie Clip: Lead Free

This “Cutie Clip” [Teether / Pacifier Tether] by “Ryan And Rose” was sent to me new in an unopened package (purchased October 2018).

I found it really interesting that the clip has the following warning on the packaging:

Prior to testing this item I did have a concern that the yellow colored metal grommet on the back of the clip might test positive for Mercury or Arsenic (as I have often found that those grommets do – on other products, like shoes) but this teether’s grommet was free of those toxicants.

In fact, when tested with an XRF instrument all components of this Ryan and Rose brand “Cutie Clip” were negative for “the bad stuff” (Cadmium, Lead, Mercury, Antimony and Arsenic) and had the following specific XRF readings (please scroll down to see all three sets of readings):

All readings were done for at least 30 seconds and repeated to confirm results.
