Made In Poland – Handmade Ceramic Boleslawiec Mug: 91 ppm Lead, considered safe by all standards.
Handmade in Poland, ceramic Boleslawiec mug.
Tested with an XRF instrument. Very low lead (within safe range),
between 86 and 91 ppm lead.
The amount of lead that is considered toxic in a modern/newly manufactured item intended for children is anything 90 ppm Lead or higher in the paint, glaze or coating – or anything 100 ppm Lead or higher in the substrate.
Mugs are not considered items intended for use by children and, as such, are not regulated for total lead content as detectable when tested with an XRF instrument.

While I might not have these in my home, if I was visiting you and you served me coffee in one of these – I would be find drinking from it.
