This is a post in “The Lead (Pb) Group” on Facebook today. The original poster posting is looking for advice to help her chiropractor so he can continue to safely use this space given the circumstances discussed and pictured below. Please offer advice in the comments on this post so she can share it with him AND so this can serve as an example for others facing a similar conundrum. And to clarify… this is bare lead sheet on a wall over a carpeted floor in a doctor’s office in 2017. Both children and adults are treated in this office. Thank you!

My older home which was built in early 50’s but renovated in the late 90’s-early 2000 has some metal type of material exposed through the pain and wall paper. I tested with a DIY at home lead tester and the paint tested negative but this metal/lead like material underneath all tested positive. Did they use lead lines walls back then??? I’m confused as I thought that was only practiced in medical facilities?
What would the next step be? Can I just use paint and new wallpaper to cover it up?
