Silicone Kiddiebites brand baby plate purchased in 2017. Made in USA.
Tested with an XRF instrument. Non-detect for lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg) and Arsenic (As), but positive for trace Cadmium (Cd) at 20 +/- 7 parts per million (ppm.) Read more about cadmium concerns here. Quite a few silicone baby items that have been tested in the past year have been positive for trace levels of cadmium (see more examples here.) I am not aware of anyone else discussing this concern.

Have you tested the silicone soothie Avent pacifiers?

I’m wondering if the results are the same for the clear plate? Does coloring have an effect on the cadmium concentration?

Hi Tamara,
Have you by chance tested the Ezpz brand of silicone plates and cups? I thought I was choosing a safe option for her but now I have concerns about cadmium. So many baby silicone products out there!
Thank you for all you do!
