I tested a Memory Lane plate in an XRF class 12 years ago. The XRF device I was using indicated the presence of several heavy metals, not just lead, and at very high concentrations. My classmates, all scientists, were horrified. The plate was from my parent’s Memory Lane set. They stopped using it for their every day after that.
Yay! #GoTeam!
Oops!! I ‘just’ clicked on the plate and saw in HORROR the measure of 51,200 ppm. Sheesh!!!
Thank you, very much!
