Did you test the pots and pan sets or only the dishes?
Only the dishes.
Purchased a few of their bsking dishes which has a white finish inside and just decorated around the outside. Would that still be as high in lead
So, for someone who is hearing-impaired, what do you conclude? No closed captioning on your video, have no clue. Please share your information with the rest of us. Thanks!
Don’t use Pioneer woman dishes – there are many other lead-free choices out there. Sorry – I am not paid for this work and am a mother of lead poisoned children with my hands very very full managing kids and fighting attacks on my advocacy. I have not yet had time for captioning and translation of my videos and written pieces. I do believe there is a tool through google that will automatically add captions to videos – are you aware of that tool? I will see if I can find it for you.
I’m thinking of the poor workers, maybe even children (3rd world country?) that made these dishes.
Thank you for the incredible work you are doing! Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you for commenting April! Thanks for your kind words!

Thank you for all you do. I did part with my pioneer women dishes and bowls after your articles and purchased Corelle white dishes instead. I hung on to my pioneer woman sugar bowl and salt and pepper shakers just to add color on my counter. Do they rank as high as the dishware does? If you could answer one question for me….. Does the sugar, salt and pepper pick up the lead Even though the paint is on the outside ?
I actually emailed Pioneer Woman about this last year. I followed up asking them what their test results were against the FDA results and got zero reponse. Here was their first response:
Dear valued customer,
We understand the concern regarding lead/cadmium in the ceramic cookware. In general, our products do contain a very minimal amount of lead, however, it is all within the FDA Standards.
All Pioneer Woman products are tested for lead in accordance to all applicable regulatory standards. It may contain a minimum amount of lead, however, it is within the FDA Standards and CA PROP 65 Standards which test for lead and cadmium content and release.
We hope this information helps.

Hi there,
I’m curious about the plain white coloring inside some of the dishes. I have her mixing bows that are decorated on the outside but plain white inside. I also have her white “Cowgirl Lace” style dishware and have used it since my wedding. There’s no colorful detailing or paint on it, but the finish is starting to wear off from everyday use and you can see scrape marks on it. I have 2 small children with a 3rd on the way and want to keep everyone safe.
Thanks for all that you do!
