Children’s tooth brushes (Totz & Nimbus): Lead Free.
All components tested (of items pictured below).
Modern hard plastic items designed and sold as intended for children (manufactured today/recently) (including toothbrushes) should all be lead free. As always, please feel free to ask questions.
Here are some good #LeadSafe / #LeadFree tooth brush choices for younger children (with my specific XRF Testing results below!)

Thank you for posting this! I’ll be using your affiliate link to buy some toothbrushes. Looks like Totz will be the brand of choice despite Nimbus seemingly being a more durable brush. The feedback on Amazon was good for Totz, but better for Nimbus- however, one reviewer did mention contacting Nimbus directly about the Amazon listing…Nimbus replied that they do not sell on Amazon. So not sure if that link is to an original product. I did contact them myself, but am waiting to hear back. Nimbus can be bought directly through their site, but want to support your work even if it’s in a small way, so in the meantime Totz it is.. are all colors lead free? I’ve noticed lead content can sometimes be color dependent.

Hi Tamara,
Back here again.. went to order the totz brush, but am hesitant after seeing a string of pretty bad reviews that I must have missed initially. I am reconsidering the nimbus, but because the affiliate link may not be an original product according to one Amazon reviewer, I would rather purchase directly from the Nimbus site. Question- were all the Nimbus colors lead free? They come in a four pack with only one green so we would be using a blue, pink and yellow as well. Given I most likely won’t be using your affiliate link this time around, is there another way to support your work? I can’t afford the monthly subscription, but can do a donation… Do you accept Venmo? One last question… is there an adult manual toothbrush you recommend? Which do you use?
