The funds Lead Safe Mama, LLC raises through Patreon help to bridge the gap in funding to cover some of the costs of testing and reporting for testing of products that was not otherwise funded (via individual gifts or crowd-funded campaigns).

All of our lab reports are shared on PATREON first – before we share them on social media. • While the new $25 and $50 membership levels are a great way to get more involved in the process of our work , Patreon gifts of any amount make a difference so please support the work at any level that is comfortable for you — our current average paid member contributes about $4.14 per month [just four dollars and fourteen cents], but — again — you can also join us on Patreon for free!

Patreon Stats Update

• Per the graphic on this page, as of August 04, 2026, 723 paid Patreon members contribute a combined total of $2,994.00 per month (an average gift of $4.14 each).
• Our short-term  goal is to reach $3,300 in monthly Patreon gifts (a.s.a.p.), which is equivalent to about 797 members giving our average gift of just $4.14 each to help offset some of the critical revenue we have given up by canceling our Mediavine advertising contract in early-2026.
  • That decision (giving up our advertising contract) made all Lead Safe Mama articles easier for you to read, freeing the entire website from randomly served up in-article and pop-up ads!
• Please consider joining us with a gift of at least $4.14 a month, or whatever you can afford — as of today we just need about 74 more Patreon members to join us at this level to meet our current goal. Thank you for considering this request!

While Lead Safe Mama, LLC is a community collaborative organization (we depend on our community to direct us in choosing which products to test and also to help us cover the costs of testing and reporting for those products), we are not a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization so gifts in support of our work are not classified as tax-deductible gifts to charity.
