We paid $20,000 to our legal team on Friday!

Hi friends!

We have been so very consumed with the legal battles that Lead Safe Mama, LLC is engaged in at the moment (always continuing to fight for Truth and Justice!), that I wanted to share that we paid the legal team $20,000 on Friday – making it possible for them to go ahead with our copyright violation case against the Oasis App and the Oasis App founder (holding Oasis accountable for the theft / unauthorized use of our copyrighted materials — literally hundreds of our lab reports, many of which they have misrepresented within their app and on their website and social media channels).

While I have written about this on the website, I thought it might be best to summarize the situation in a series of short videos – so I posted these three videos (links below) on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. The YouTube links are below.

Perhaps to be covered in a 4th video (to memorialize one more point, which is an answer to a question that is frequently asked): we have THREE legal teams helping us with this case (in addition to the work of the Lead Safe Mama Team, and all they are doing to support the case). Our main copyright attorney is baed in New York, he is working on contingency. Our co-counsel copyright attorney is in Florida, she is helping us partially pro-bono and partially with generous deferred payment terms. Since neither of these attorneys is licensed to work in Oregon – our Oregon-based legal team agreed to serve in the capacity of local counsel for this case (pro hac vice), but in order to take on a new legal case for us – in this very specific and limited capacity – we needed to pay what amounted to 50% of the total amount we currently owe them (our current bill – for our defamation / harassment / stalking case was $39,674.80 as of last Wednesday – July 15th).

We’re sending out a huge “THANK YOU!” to everyone who has helped up get to this point.

So many people have made it possible for us to take the next step here (in an attempt to see just served, on several levels!) We cannot express our gratitude enough. This is just the beginning, of some big things happening for Lead Safe Mama, LLC and we are optimistic about positive outcomes across the board.

Today we have been prepping 24 lab reports for publishing, after several weeks of managing the “distraction” of the various legal cases — and the new requirement of recording copyrights for each of our published lab reports with the United States Copyright Office.
