The resources here at Lead Safe Mama, LLC are critically low – so things have slowed down a bit and we could really use your help today. Two of the lab reports we are sharing today were funded by generous individual sponsors, one was nominated by a $50.00 a month Patreon Member for testing (have you checked out our $50 and $25 / month membership levels yet?) And two were not funded.

In spite of funding being low this month, as of today (the 17th day of May 2026) we have already published 16 new articles this month including 11 new lab reports and one new comparative chart (protein powders). The pumpkin seeds pictured above are our very first product nominated for testing and reporting through those new $25.00 and $50.00 membership levels (membership levels that allow our Patreon members to have a more active role in choosing which products we test and report on!) - You sign up for a $50.00 a month contribution
- After your third monthly gift in support of the work, you get to nominate a product for testing (that we guarantee we will test, asap!)
- We use unallocated gifted funds to bridge the gap in funding to help get the product tested and to help cover our reporting costs.
- That’s it! (for the $25.00 / month option you can choose a product after your 6th monthly gift!)
We’re in the middle of testing and reporting the second product chosen for testing through this new sponsorship concept — the Azure Standard Organic Cassava Flour was chosen!

While we have a bigger (yet still fairly urgent) goal of raising about $25,000 to pay our legal team (we are involved with no fewer than three legal actions related to corporate bad actors thinking it’s a “good look” for them to challenge our work in one way or another), we have a short term goal today of raising at least $750.00 to cover our basic operating costs to keep the business going this week.

It is always our preference (from a fundraising perspective) that everyone in our community joins us on Patreon with a small monthly gift ($1.00 or $2.00 a month in support of the work! – joining the 711 friends who are already doing that, however that does make reaching our goals fairly slow going.
