A “New” Sponsorship!

We are excited to share that Naturepedic has come on board with a new sponsorship of the work of Lead Safe Mama, LLC!

Naturepedic has been a partner and supporter of our work since we first met their team in 2014. Their generosity and ongoing commitment in supporting the work of Lead Safe Mama, LLC is unparalleled. Naturepedic has donated new organic mattresses to families with Lead poisoned children who we have helped over the past decade+. They have also contributed mattresses and sheet sets as prizes to our big annual readership appreciation giveaways each year.

Naturepedic is also the organic mattress brand I have chosen for my family.

First I found out about the company (and learned of their USA-based manufacturing processes, the clean / natural / organic materials they use, their science-based approach to environmentalism, and their ethical standards). Then I tested their products using XRF technology and found them to test cleaner than other mattresses we had tested!

Only after confirming their mattresses met our standards did I invite Naturepedic to partner with us in our work (and later eventually ordered Naturepedic mattresses for my home – and for my son at college too).

Through last month (August 2025) we had an affiliate relationship with Naturepedic, however in August we chose not to renew ANY of our direct-affiliate relationships with any manufacturers as we felt it was not an organic or authentic way to integrate corporate support into our business. Our only remaining affiliate relationship is with Amazon, a relationship we have set up at the request of the Lead Safe Mama online community — so you can support our work with your purchases (if you choose to shop on Amazon), and so we can provide direct links to products that you have asked us to test / that have tested clean (so you can see them “in the wild” & make note of the ones you want to purchase if you choose to shop locally – which we encourage!)

The most exciting bit of news is that this gift of support from Naturepedic has provided critical funding to help us cover the gap in costs for much of the laboratory testing and reporting that was not covered over the summer. With this support we can now focus on publishing many of our pending (otherwise-not-yet-funded) lab reports – without worrying about where the funding to pay the Lead Safe Mama team for that work will come from. (Woot!)
