Update: Allocation of Undesignated Funds Gifted to Lead Safe Mama, LLC via GoFundMe & Patreon Through May 19, 2025

Funding Update
Hello again, friends!
Over the past four months, Lead Safe Mama, LLC has received $6,488.66 in undesignated support from all combined sources (PayPal, GoFundMe, Patreon, etc.) — including our general support GoFundMe campaign and our Patreon paid subscriber base.
Continuing our practice of using gifted funds to help cover the costs of testing and reporting on campaigns for products nominated by the Lead Safe Mama online community that have not yet been funded, we are allocating the recently contributed undesignated funds as noted in the spreadsheet graphic below.
- The graphic below is an updated version of our draft allocation of funds posted in April 2025 (last month).
- The graphic below is our current (nearly final) plan for applying these funds, although the allocation may change slightly over the coming weeks (per the notation on the graphic below).
- If any pending campaigns receive more donations before their lab reports are published, we will be able to adjust budgets a bit and re-allocate some of the funding to other pending campaigns currently not listed.
- Campaigns that still require funds (but for which we have not launched GoFundMe campaigns) include three salt products, a cassava flour product, two oat products, and more.
Thank you to everyone who contributed via our GoFundMe and to our Patreon base for helping make this testing and reporting possible! If you are coming across this article sometime after May 20 and would like to see the latest update on our use of these gifted funds, please click here.
If you would like to join the generous individuals who made all of this possible by also supporting the work of Lead Safe Mama, LLC with undesignated gifted funds (so we can apply money where it is needed most), please consider contributing at this link OR joining us on Patreon with a monthly gift, here. We also accept contributions supporting this work via PayPal (TamaraRubin@mac.com), Venmo (@TamaraERubin, 3182), and Zelle (503-702-2708).
As Lead Safe Mama, LLC is not a 501(c)3 nonprofit, contributions are not tax-deductible, however, we do rely on undesignated contributions to help cover a portion of the costs for the work we do. This means your gifts are very much appreciated by everyone in the Lead Safe Mama community. Undesignated gifts are always used to help cover the costs incurred with expanding our database of publicly available scientific test results, helping people (around the world!) make informed decisions for their families.
Thank you!
