Readers were having difficulty understanding how toxic the Seven Sundays Cereal is, so I created this graphic.
I also put together this table and graphic to help shed light on the concern:
Some additional reading & links that may be of interest:
- A link with a spreadsheet showing all of our food testing — completed and in-progress (since March of 2024)
- The Lead Safe Mama affiliate link to purchase the test kits we used for this testing
- Our landing page with links to all the results for food products we’ve tested
- Here’s how to send your own food samples into a lab for testing (the cost is $195 per single food sample tested for Lead, Cadmium, Mercury, and Arsenic) or how to collaborate with Lead Safe Mama, LLC on the food testing we’re hosting.
- The Food category of articles here on Lead Safe Mama dot com
Amazon links are affiliate links. If you purchase something after clicking a Lead Safe Mama, LLC Amazon affiliate link, we may receive a percentage of what you spend at no extra cost to you.

The graphic was helpful! Thank you! I appreciate your creative ways of getting the message across. We all have different learning styles so it’s a great idea to have different ways of presenting information.
Thank you Kay! And why aren’t you asleep! It’s 2:15 in the morning here! Lol! Sleep well.

Wow! And you think you are giving your children a better option. Thank you for all the work you do. We will stop giving our kids this cereal. I will also email seven Sundays to see what their response is. I think we all should email them.
This has been their response so far:https://tamararubin.com/2024/07/seven-sundays-response-to-lead-safe-mama-llcs-findings-of-unsafe-levels-of-lead-cadmium-in-their-cereal/
Thanks, Tamara. It’s the same time here. LOL. Sometimes I just have to stay up late to catch up on stuff. It looks like you do, too . I’ve been away from the info stream for a few days and I don’t like to get too far behind with what’s going on, especially with the results of all the food testing coming in. Even though I don’t consider these highly-processed products as “food”, and don’t eat them myself, I’m glad to know about their dangers because I have teenage grandkids and also friends with young children who definitely need to be made aware of this ubiquitous problem .
Wondering if Seven Sundays has responded to this alarming find?

Thank you for creating this information-packed graphic – extremely helpful!
Not Siete too!! Oh my goodness my trust in decent-seeming “family” companies has really plummeted this evening. Tamara, I know it’s different for every family in every region, but I’d appreciate hearing more about what you feed your family. Literally, what do you make for dinner? What do you pack in their lunches? This week I’ve learned about the problem with sunflower (we use sunflower butter bc of a peanut allergy), chickpea ( we had been buying Banza for a high protein gluten free pasta), essentially all dark chocolate, and of course the constant alarms about glyphosate on everything. Couple that with efforts to limit sugar, gluten, refined oils, natural flavors, guns, etc etc etc! I really feel lost about what food won’t damage my kids. Again, I’m very grateful for your work!
