The graphs and charts on this page share Lead Safe Mama, LLC’s final outreach numbers for January 2024. Here are some of the highlights:
- Lead Safe Mama, LLC passed 73,000 Facebook “Followers” in January of 2024!
- We also passed 58,000 Facebook “Likes” in January!
- We also passed 54,500 Instagram followers!
- Our work was quoted and cited in (literally) COUNTLESS articles/ newspapers/ journals, etc. related to our March 2023 findings of Lead in the popular Stanley Tumbler Quencher products! You can see some highlights of that coverage on the Lead Safe Mama press page at this link.
- We saw a total of 771,471 unique page views in January of 2024, making this our second best January ever for reach and readership of this work (second only to readership in January 2023).
- If we multiply this number by TWELVE (for every months), this could result in 9,257,652 unique page views by the end of the 2024 calendar year.
- The average daily page view count in January worked out to 24,866 page views per day.
- If we extrapolate this number for the year (multiplying our daily page views for January 2024 by 365 days) the projection works out to 9,083,390 possible page views for the 2024 calendar year!
2024 is going to be an exciting year!
Some Lead Safe Mama, LLC goals for 2024
Frankly, we have been so very busy since the start of the year (especially in the past two weeks with all of the Stanley Tumbler news interviews and resulting chaos) that I haven’t yet had a moment to pause and take some time where I can think clearly to come up with goals for Lead Safe Mama, LLC for the 2024 calendar year. Already more than a month into 2024, here’s a quick pass of ideas for Lead Safe Mama, LLC 2024 goals (I may revise this later… if I get a chance to think straight)!
- Goal #1) PAGE VIEWS: Our “conservative” goal for reach and readership for the year is 7,200,000 unique page views by the end of December 2024. This has been our readership goal (a level of readership that would result in the financial sustainability of the work we do — the threshold above which the work we do here will persistently earn enough to cover the costs of the work we do) for several years now.
- Goal #2) PAGE VIEWS (STRETCH GOAL): Our “stretch” goal for reach and readership is 2X LeadSafeMama.com readership seen in 2023. With total readership for 2023 coming in at 5,764,660, that would put our total readership (stretch goal) for 2024 at 11,529,320 unique page views by the end of the year.
- Goal #3) INSTAGRAM FOLLOWERS: Given we closed out the month of January 2024 with 54,528 Instagram followers, we’re setting an ambitious goal of 100,000 (one hundred thousand) Instagram followers by the end of December 2024. As of the moment of writing this, we have more than 55,500 Instagram followers (so an increase of about 1,000 instagram followers in the past THREE DAYS — less than three days, actually), so setting a goal of a 44,500-person increase by the end of the calendar year (a projection of less than 1,000 new followers per week) seems very attainable at this point.
- Goal #4) FACEBOOK FOLLOWERS & LIKES: We would love for the Lead Safe Mama Facebook page to pass 100,000 Facebook followers AND 100,000 Facebook likes in 2024!
- Goal #5) NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIBERS: We’re setting a goal of passing 35,000 (organic!) newsletter subscribers in 2024!
- As of today, we have 16,557 active (organic) newsletter subscribers. That means 35,000 would require doubling our audience in 2024, which I think is entirely possible!
- Goal #6) YOUTUBE SUBSCRIBERS: We’re setting a goal of passing 10,000 YouTube subscribers in 2024!
- Goal #7) PRODUCT RECALLS: Since our work has been fairly successful in getting product recalls pushed through both the CPSC and the FDA in the past 18+ months or so, we are going to continue that work with a goal of submitting at least 12 CPSC violation reports in 2024 (hopefully more, given we have found at least 24 unsafe children’s products in recent years that the CPSC has not yet recalled).
- Goal #8) WORLD-WIDE OUTREACH WORK: Our goal for 2024 is to add Africa, New Zealand, and Australia to the list of places where we have held Lead Safe Mama outreach events (with free consumer goods testing, blood Lead testing, and education for all who attend).
- Goal #9) FINANCIAL STABILITY: We are committed that 2024 is THE YEAR when everything finally comes together for Lead Safe Mama, LLC (that seems to be happening at the moment I am writing this)! Our goal is that all of the debt related to our Federal Civil Rights legal battle is paid off in full by the end of 2024. This is a very big goal, but not an impossible goal and is one we are going to continue to work towards every day. Lead Safe Mama, LLC’s current debt related to these attacks (which attempted to destroy the credibility of Lead Safe Mama, LLC and our consumer-led movement for childhood Lead poisoning prevention and consumer goods safety) is about $275,000.
- Goal #10) FULL TIME EMPLOYEE: To hire our first (non-Rubin-family) full-time paid employee (an Executive Assistant/ Event Coordinator/ Social Media Coordinator) by the end of 2024.
- Supporting the tireless efforts of the Rubin family, Lead Safe Mama, LLC currently has three paid part-time subcontractors helping us in addition to our legal team!
- Current Lead Safe Mama team members/ helpers (paid and volunteer) include:
- Carissa: Social Media Support (Washington State)
- Katie: Social Media & Outreach Campaign Support (Georgia)
- Ainslie: Editing and Press Support (Thailand)
- Sarah: Volunteer, Outreach Coordinator (California, Fresno)
- Avi: Volunteer, Cinematographer, Photographer (Everywhere!)
- Leonard: Editing/ Project Management/ Outreach Support (Everywhere!)
That’s all I can think of right now! We may add more goals soon as we get some quiet (non-busy) space and give this some more thought!
Thanks for being here!
Thanks for reading!
Thanks for taking the time to help Lead Safe Mama, LLC reach our goals so we can continue expanding our work and increasing the number of families we are able to help each year.
