We are continuing to celebrate some of Lead Safe Mama, LLC’s milestones with “bonus” giveaways. The main reason we’re doing these giveaways is to thank YOU all (in a small way) for following this work and participating in the international conversation for childhood Lead poisoning prevention and consumer goods safety (a conversation we engage in on social media every day).

To enter for a chance to win:

Another goal behind these giveaways is to grow the movement while encouraging new engagement and awareness on social media as well as out in the “real” world.

To this end, earlier this year we announced that each time we pass another 250 new followers on Instagram (until we reach our goal of 50,000 followers), we’ll have another giveaway in celebration of all of you! I have purchased some of the prizes for the giveaways and some have been contributed by generous manufacturers of Lead-free products!

Today’s giveaway prize is detailed in the links above! To celebrate recently passing 41,750 Lead Safe Mama Instagram followers, we’ll be choosing one eligible entrant (at random) to win the above “Lemonade Stand” prize package.

If you enter before noon (12 p.m. PST) tomorrow (Saturday, December 30, 2023) you will qualify for this giveaway! By entering this giveaway (see graphic above with details on how to enter for a chance to win), you’ll also be entered for our other upcoming giveaways until we reach our 50,000 Instagram follower goal! You only have to enter once (if you use a VALID email when subscribing to the newsletter (since winners are notified by email), stay subscribed to our email list, and keep following Lead Safe Mama on Instagram). Then, just check your email each giveaway day (and keep an eye on our Instagram page to see our announcements and winners)! Winners have 24 hours to respond to our email and accept the prize before we’ll select an alternate entrant.

Tamara Rubin is a multiple-federal-award-winning independent advocate for childhood Lead poisoning prevention and consumer goods safety, and a documentary filmmaker. She is also a mother of Lead-poisoned children (two of her sons were acutely Lead-poisoned in 2005). Since 2009, Tamara has been using XRF technology (a scientific method used by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission) to test consumer goods for toxicants (specifically heavy metals — including Lead, Cadmium, Mercury, Antimony, and Arsenic). All test results reported on this website are science-based, accurate, and replicable. Items are tested multiple times to confirm the test results for each component tested. Tamara’s work was featured in Consumer Reports Magazine in February of 2023 (March 2023 print edition).
