For those new to this website:
Tamara Rubin is a multiple-Federal-award-winning independent advocate for childhood Lead-poisoning prevention and consumer goods safety, and a documentary filmmaker. She is also a mother of Lead-poisoned children (two of her sons were acutely Lead-poisoned in 2005). Since 2009, Tamara has been using XRF technology (a scientific method used by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission) to test consumer goods for toxicants (specifically heavy metals — including Lead, Cadmium, Mercury, Antimony, and Arsenic). All test results reported on this website are science-based, accurate, and replicable. Items are tested multiple times to confirm the test results for each component tested. Tamara’s work was featured in Consumer Reports Magazine in February of 2023 (March 2023 print edition).
July 26, 2023 — Wednesday
Some highlights to go with this chart…
- July 2023 is officially the “Best July Ever” here at LeadSafeMama.com (for reach, readership, and impact as measured by unique page views), with more than 313,000 unique page views on the website so far this month!
- With five days left in the month, at the rate things are going we expect to see unique page views to pass 375,000 this month — making this July the “12th best month of all time.”
- We’re hoping to reach a stretch goal of possibly 415,000 page views (or even 450,000) with several upcoming “big things” still in the pipeline for this month.
- This is the third month this calendar year to achieve “best ever” for that month, joining January and February of 2023.
- This is the SIXTH month this calendar year to pass 300,000 unique page views for the month!
- August, September, and October have historically always been low readership months — so we’re hoping we will easily break records for each of those months in 2023. We’re anticipating that August, September, October, and possibly even November will also see their “best month ever” for that month in 2023.
- Average daily page views for the year so far are hovering at 17,070 unique page views each day. If this trend continues, we should see (or hopefully pass!) 6,230,550 unique page views for the calendar year in 2023 — which would make this year the best year ever for this work’s reach and readership by nearly 1,000,000 page views (last year saw 5,320,698 unique page views and was our best year ever to date).
Thank You, to each and every one of you for helping to make this happen! When we have an average of at least 600,000 page views each month (7,200,000 page views each year) we will reach our “sustainability goal.” This readership goal is our projection of when we anticipate the revenue generated by the work we do here at Lead Safe Mama, LLC will fully cover the costs of the work we develop here! Keep sharing our links with your friends (on social media and especially with any parenting groups you are part of!). Your shares will make the difference in helping us reach (and pass!) our goals.
