Hi friends. I had the most AMAZING conversation yesterday with a product manufacturer — I hope to be able to share about it with you some day soon. There’s some incredible stuff happening behind the scenes here every day at Lead Safe Mama, LLC!  

While I plan on spending most of today writing and answering questions, I’m hyper-focused on trying to meet our reach, impact, and financial goals this month (especially since we have about $10,250 in payments to our legal team due next week). To that end, I have re-shared some of the Lead-free “deals” happening right now (load remote content for this email and click the blue square at the top), in case you missed them earlier in the month.

I also wanted to note that this month (March 2023) we will be closing out the month with an operating deficit of $1,893.83. This may sound awful (and in some ways it is) but we actually anticipated this — because most of our affiliate and advertising income is paid on a two-month delay. We expect April to be even more sparse (likely with an operating deficit of about $5,500), but after April things are looking up from there. Barring something unexpected (like another surprise plague taking over the world!), we anticipate that starting in May of 2023 we will finally begin to consistently cover our operating costs out of earned income each and every month moving forward.

Starting in May of 2023 we will also be able to begin paying down some of the longer-term loans for legal costs related to our Federal Civil Rights legal battle. Needless to say, this is a very exciting time in the growth of this small business — with just a tiny bit more hardship anticipated between now and May, based on our overall trajectory, it’s a (“knock on wood”) very promising future!
