Is there another brand you’ve tested for loaf pans? Is Pyrex from France OK?

Hi Tamara. I ordered these glass loaf pans and they’re coming this week. There are quite a few critical reviews of them and on the Walmart website of them spontaneously exploding in the oven or when taken out of the oven to cool even with following care directions and not abusing them Some have sent pictures I think I’ll return them. I’ll look for uncoated steel loaf pans. It’s really hard today to find something that works
Thanks for commenting. We have had ours for over a decade – no issues. I think it’s a hot cold movement issue (putting a hot pan on a very cold counter, for example).
