A reader messaged me today asking for a Lead-free espresso cup recommendation. This one is a good choice! AND it is on sale today https://amzn.to/3DjB7JF (aflink).

Would you ever consider reviewing the bialetti moka pots? They’re classics for espresso like coffee but realized the one I have is aluminum. They have one with stainless steel but also have other components. Thanks for your amazing work. My kitchen is being transformed thanks to your research.

I have one of these for my husband to use: https://www.amazon.com/Bormioli-Rocco-Ypsilon-Espresso-Stainless/dp/B000WACWGS/ref=psdc_13162311_t2_B000BPWX0O
I wonder, is it likely lead-free, too?
Thank you for everything you are doing to help our families and the planet!
Grateful

Hi there. Nowhere does it say in the description of these espresso cups that they are lead-free. How do you know they are? I saw your youtube about how lead test kits are not trustworthy. Thanks!

I use XRF technology to test consumer goods for Lead. If I say something is Lead-free it is because I have done the scientific testing myself (or tested other items from the same brand that have consistently tested negative for Lead). Here’s an article about the testing methodology I use:
