Hello all! My friend wanted to share about my upcoming visit to the area in her NextDoor community and she asked that I put together a little blurb that she could easily share. I thought I would share it here in case others have the same idea and wanted some suggested language to use. Please feel free to copy and paste the language – and click on the image above of the baby bottles for that graphic as well if you would like to use it with your NextDoor post. Thank you for supporting this work in this way!
Hello NextDoor Neighbors!
My friend (Tamara Rubin) is an environmental activist and documentary filmmaker. [She is the activist who discovered Lead in fidget spinners back in 2017.]
She does home consultations, where she tests the items in people’s homes (for Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Arsenic, Antimony and other toxic heavy metals), so families can identify and eliminate these exposure sources — and helps educate families in making safer product choices! She is based in Portland, Oregon but is coming to our neck of the woods soon (next month) — and still has room in her schedule to work with another family or two.
If you are interested in learning more about her work [2021 discoveries include finding 7 types of new baby bottles painted with Lead paint – the ones in the picture accompanying this post!], check out her website at www.LeadSafeMama.com.
Her travel schedule and rates to hire her can be found on this link:
