This is a scene from my film; it is about four minutes long.

While this is not exactly what a home consultation with me is like today – in 2021 – (this scene was filmed in April of 2012, and it was the very first time I brought an XRF instrument to someone’s home to try to help them!), it is a good example of my one-on-one work with families [9 years later I do a better job of not crying in front of families however, lol!] If you haven’t seen the full film, please do watch it [here’s the link: https://youtu.be/eRKlaC2EjL0 ].

The film also includes follow-up work actually fixing the lead hazards at her home [the ones that we were able to address with the budget and resources and volunteers that we were able to round up in New Orleans, in response to my home visit with her!] If we end up doing a TV series with these types of home visits I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to get sponsors to be able to do bigger-budget renovations [I would have loved to replace her bath tub, and replace all of her windows, if we had had the budget for that!] Thanks for taking the time to watch this.
