THESE ARE GREAT FOR CLEANING UP LEAD DUST…
These wipes (affiliate link: https://amzn.to/3oSW0Bw) are the best for cleaning up Lead dust (you really don’t need the fancy expensive products specifically labeled for cleaning up Lead dust!) and they are FINALLY…. BACK IN STOCK on Amazon – but with different packaging!
You can only buy three packs of these 3-packs at a time (because they are still rationed/limited due to this wild pandemic we are still in the middle of). I think you are also limited to buying these once a week via Amazon (which is what we have been doing – we have placed two orders so far for three packs of these 3-packs, so I finally have something like 18 packages of these wipes handy now for cleaning up lead dust – which is important because we use them for that all the time).
These are the SAME product as the bleach free Clorox brand wipes in the cylindrical tubs and (AGAIN) these are excellent for cleaning up Lead dust. Plus the packaging is better I think (easier to ship and more space efficient to store at least). Here’s my affiliate link: https://amzn.to/3oSW0Bw

Hi Tamara! Can you let us know what surfactant we should be looking for in wipes, I’m curious which of the ingredients Clorox uses that’s actually removing the lead dust since I can’t find anything on lead removing surfactants online. Is it the same surfactant as in the laundry detergent you recommended before? Thank you!

What about using Ledisolv or Lead Safe wipes?
Are these safe and effective? I think they use chelation agents.

Very helpful video. I think I’ll be removing a standing lamp with stained glass in it from our living room tomorrow and this gives me a lot of pointers. The lamp stood next to a couch, with the likelihood it shed dust on the couch, would you recommend shampooing the couch or something similar (like you suggested for the carpet in the video)?
