1983 “Shafford Original” dual shell serving dish: 57,200 ppm Lead. 90 ppm & up is unsafe in items intended for use by kids.

When tested with an XRF instrument the dish pictured here had the following readings– 60-second test (food surface of the dish):

• Lead (Pb): 57,200 +/- 1,800 ppm
• Barium (Ba): 156 +/- 59 ppm
• Iron (Fe): 648 +/- 154 ppm
• No other metals detected in consumer goods mode.
• Multiple tests done to confirm the results
• Back side of the dish was positive for similar levels of Lead.
