Hello! I have my grandparents set of tableware that is similar to this and I’m wondering if you happen to know if they are lead safe as well? The back of the dishes say “Contemporary Château hand painted stoneware” and made in Japan. They were their everyday dishes and sentimental, but I don’t want to use them with my family if they are unsafe.

Hi Tamara, I have the old brook collection stoneware plates in the Stone Creek pattern. They have a brown rum with yellow, white and orange flowers with sage green leaves. I’m hoping that this one is also safe?
