When tested with an XRF instrument the dish pictured here had the following readings:
Test on center of food surface of dish (white area):
- Cadmium (Cd): 14 +/- 6 ppm
- Bismuth (Bi): 49 +/- 13 ppm
- Iron (Fe): 4,521 +- 341 ppm
- Vanadium (V): 117 +/- 50 ppm
- Titanium (Ti): 300 +/- 79 ppm
Test on decorative floral edge of food surface of dish (green area):
Tests on other colors had similar results.
- Lead (Pb): 8,187 +/- 252 ppm
- Cadmium (Cd): 14 +/- 7 ppm
- Chromium (Cr): 2,382 +/- 153 ppm
- Antimony (Sb): 78 +/- 16 ppm
- Tin (Sn): 110 +/- 15 ppm
- Platinum (Pt): 165 +/- 79 ppm
- Zinc (Zn): 458 +/- 47 ppm
- Cobalt (Co): 385 +/- 117 ppm
- Iron (Fe): 3,728 +- 300 ppm
- Vanadium (V): 713 +/- 74 ppm
- Titanium (Ti): 862 +/- 98 ppm
Test on decorative floral edge of food surface of dish (gold trim):
- Cadmium (Cd): 14 +/- 6 ppm
- Silver (Ag): 79 +/- 8 ppm
- Bismuth (Bi): 66 +/- 17 ppm
- Gold (Au): 5,269 +/- 218 ppm
- Iron (Fe): 3,680 +/- 299 ppm
- Titanium (Ti): 219 +/- 102 ppm
