This water bottle was sent to me by a reader in 2018 (Yes, I am that far behind in reporting test results! Sorry everyone.) It was likely manufactured in 2017 or 2018. It is my understanding that this is Voss brand water bottle without the label (some of these have a label that is a clear plastic sleeve that is easily removed.) When tested with an XRF instrument this bottle had the following readings:
Reading Set One – solid glass bottom of bottle:
- Iron (Fe): 360 +/- 127 ppm
- Vanadium (V): 56 +/- 18 ppm
- Titanium (Ti): 126 +/- 27 ppm
Reading Set Two – side of bottle:
- Iron (Fe): 518 +/- 142 ppm
- Vanadium (V): 101 +/- 1826ppm
- Titanium (Ti): 182 +/- 37 ppm
Each test was done using a freshly calibrated XRF instrument in “consumer goods” mode. Each testing time was for at least 60 seconds. Results are replicable, science-based and accurate. Metals not listed in the above test results set were not detected by the XRF when testing in consumer goods mode.
