I’m always looking for a way to possibly draw the attention of the Royal Family to the issue of childhood Lead poisoning. After all – they have babies AND they live in old Lead painted houses [and I would wager that if I were invited to their home to do a Healthy Home Consultation, I would find countless sources of Lead!] My thinking behind this is that if we had an opportunity to spark the awareness for them that this problem actually touches their lives – and the lives of their families – and especially the lives of their very small children… they might take it on as a personal cause. If the Royal Family took on the cause of childhood Lead poisoning I can see significant change happening – both in Great Britain, and Globally.
This should be personal for them. This week I have been in communication with a mother of a Lead poisoned child in England. Her husband works in an English Lead sheet manufacturing company, and her child has been poisoned as a result of exposure sources her husband has been bringing home from work —microscopic, yet incredibly toxic Lead particulates (“micro-dust” on his clothes and shoes, and in his hair, most likely)! This mama has not been able to find ANY resources to help her baby and does not believe her husband has any recourse (the company has been hiring workers as “independent contractors” – so they do not have to take responsibility for the issues caused by their work, such as the persistent chronic Lead-poisoning of this baby,)
That said – maybe the fact that a cup made with a photo of the Royal couple imprinted on it is very high in Lead (at a level that is high enough that I would not recommend anyone ever use this for food use purposes) will actually grab their attention. Harry, Meghan, William, Katherine – please have me over for a visit (I have been to the homes of many Hollywood celebrities, captains of industry, politicians of all stripes, and other high-status individuals — and I promise you I will treat you and your family with respect and dignity (and would not “fan girl” on you!)… I go in to full “grandma mode” when I visit the homes of young families like yourself – regardless of how many resources they have to address the issues found – and regardless of their social standing or potential for influence.)

Test results reported on this website are science-based, accurate, and replicable. All tests were done using an XRF instrument reading for metals in “consumer goods mode.” Metals not detected by the instrument are not listed above. Tests were done for a minimum of 60 seconds each unless otherwise noted, and were repeated multiple times on each component to confirm the levels reported.
Meghan, Harry – my cell is 415-609-3182 & my email is TamaraRubin@mac.com. I’m available the entire month of December to meet in England or the States (and could even pop over to you around Thanksgiving to test your mom’s dishes Meghan!)
