Thought this was important to share (especially given some of the the critics I have out there, LOL).

$17,285 (if I worked only 40 hours a week and had a two week vacation every year) = $8.64 an hour.

…BUT – I work closer to 60 or 70 hours a week without a vacations, so $17,285 = something in the range of $4.75 to $5.54/hr.

The irony of this is that it is the FACT that my family has been below the poverty line during most of the years since my children were poisoned (and the FACT that the IRS essentially confirmed this in auditing 5 years of my taxes and, for each year audited, coming to the conclusion that no changes to my returns were required) that has exonerated me from the allegations.

Through their audits, the IRS (both directly and indirectly) was responsible for proving I was not guilty of any of the false allegations…. yet the State of Oregon continues to pursue us for these same false allegations, in spite of the IRS dropping the case, and in spite of the Criminal Courts dropping the case (cases dropped each time because the evidence didn’t support any of the false allegations — evidence including the entire QuickBooks dataset of our accounting, which we provided to the IRS along with 2,300 pages of supporting documentation.)

Thanks for being here. Thanks for reading. Thanks for sharing my posts. Your visits to my website helps to make what I do possible. I am deeply moved by the support of this community — and would not have been able to fight back and successfully defend myself against this well-funded, multi-pronged, sustained attempt to shut down my work without it!

[Despite the enormous expenditure of time and money all this malignant idiocy has cost me, and the profound hardship, misery and trauma it has visited upon my family for the last three years, I am confident now that the end is finally in sight…stay tuned.

As always please let me know if you have any questions! #MyLifeIsAnOpenBook.

I’m so ready to have this colossal legal battle be behind me (and also ready to to begin suing the State for this three years of utterly unwarranted harassment), and I can see a pretty interesting future for my work. I’ve been chatting with several people recently and the phrase “Lead-free Martha Stewart” has been tossed around quite a bit — comparisons referring to the growth and loyalty of our community, not the fact that we’ve both seen the inside of a jail cell (for very different reasons) lol!

Stay strong, keep standing for a lead-free future for our kids, and keep spreading the word!

Love,

Tamara Rubin
