The center “dot” (white) of this diffuser was positive for 9,398 ppm Lead when tested with a freshly calibrated XRF instrument (with testing done by a trained operator.)
Depending on the placement of the XRF I also got some higher and some lower readings, but this is the reading for when the circle of the scope of the XRF is directly over the circle in the center. With readings this high it is possible that there is a dot of solid lead solder underneath the white disk, but it is impossible to determine that without disassembly.
It is hard to tell what that disc is made of, but from what I have read it may be a ceramic disk. I am going to take apart the diffuser (on camera, in a Facebook live video) to get in there and then test the components separately. I will post a video link here when I have it.
