When tested with an XRF instrument this Dema Designs Romsey brown and blue ceramic mug had the following XRF readings:
Brown area of glaze:
(Each second done for at least 60 seconds. Tests that were positive for toxicants were repeated multiple times to confirm the results.)
- Lead (Pb): 29 +/- 12 ppm
- Cadmium (Cd): Non-Detect / Negative
- Arsenic (As): Non-Detect / Negative
- Mercury (Hg): Non-Detect / Negative
- Barium (Ba): 1,329 +/- 68 ppm
- Zinc (Zn): 483 +/- 46 ppm
- Copper (Cu): 9,269 +/- 301 ppm
- Iron (Fe): 20,100 +/- 700 ppm
- Bismuth (Bi): 36 +/- 11 ppm
- Vanadium (V): 3,051 +/- 146 ppm
- Titanium (Ti): 7,044 +/- 293 ppm
- Magnesium (Mn): 13,900 +/- 600 ppm
If a metal is not noted in any lists of results on this post it was also not detected with the XRF instrument for this item.
